UPDATED COVID-19 PRACTICES

as of 04/17/21

Hello All!

I wanted to make some announcements based on the ever-changing realities of COVID-19 and updates regarding mandatory measures statewide as well as my specific policies for my business. As the state and county fluctuate between infection tiers, we have started to see spikes in our case numbers. I am hoping to contribute to slowing this down to not only protect the community but also to avoid another "Stay At Home" order. As a small-business owner, another shutdown would be devastating. I myself am fully vaccinated as of 04/12/21 however I will still be wearing a mask indoors around unvaccinated people and outdoors if we are within 3 feet of an unvaccinated person.

Due to the nature of photoshoots, and the fact that hair and makeup cannot reasonably socially distant from the client the HMUA team will continue to wear masks indoors.

We ask that all LMCP clients do their utmost to protect our team from COVID-19.

We will be only continue scheduled shoots with the following safety measures in mind:

You can find the Official Order Here

  • Upon Entering: Clients & Guests must wear a mask while indoors & sanitize or wash their hands UPON ENTERING. Lacey M. Carroll Photography provides hand sanitizer. A mask will be provided if needed, but you are encouraged to please bring one from home as supplies are limited

  • Max Capacity: To optimally allow for proper distancing, there is a max capacity of 14 people in my studio, however, that also includes myself, hair/makeup, and my assistants so I will be allowing no more than 10 guests in my studio at a time. For my clients who are minors, you can be accompanied by 1 parent/chaperone but I ask that no additional people come in order to keep risk levels down.

  • Travel: Any clients who are unvaccinated and have traveled out of state or by airplane, will need to reschedule their shoot until 14 days after you arrive home AND free of symptoms.

  • High-Risk Behavior: Any clients who are unvaccinated and engaged in what LMCP deems as high-risk behavior (ie: attending an unmasked indoor gathering with more than 3 households, attending conferences, traveling out of state by car or by plane, maskless public outings) will be asked to wait at least 14 days after the high-risk event to have their photo shoot.

  • If you have symptoms: If you or anyone you reside with are displaying symptoms of Covid-19, we ask that you reschedule immediately and will be able to accommodate a reschedule as soon as possible.

  • Exposure: If you have come into close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID, whether or not you have symptoms, rescheduling will be necessary until you test negative, and wait 14 days after contact.

  • Photog Team Members: All team members wear masks at all times while inside the studio. Outdoors, all team members will wear masks when they are within 3 feet of the client.

  • During Fashion Consults: All clients and their guests will be required to wear masks at all times to lessen the risk of spread. For adults: No additional people can come to Fashion Consults due to how small the Style Closet is. For Minors/HS Seniors, one parent is allowed.

  • During Your Photoshoot: The team and all guests NOT being photographed will be required to wear a mask indoors. The client(s) being photographed will not be required to wear a mask after makeup application. Guests accompanying the client will not be required to wear a mask outdoors but must remain 3 feet away from others.

  • Group Photos: All group sessions with members not residing in the same household will be postponed until COVID numbers decrease.

  • Large Gatherings: If you are attending a large gathering outside of your immediate household, we will need to reschedule your shoot no sooner than 14 days after you return home.

  • Studio Rental: Studio rental to other photographers is postponed until further notice.

These measures are based on CDC guidelines to not only protect myself and my family but also my hair and makeup collaborators, my amazing clients, and the community.

Thank you for your cooperation during this time.
