Bella’s Senior Session – Class of 2026

Parents of High School senoirs, admit it, we don’t want this school year to end! There’s too many milestones and experiences that are happening and what better way to capture this special moment in time than booking Senior Portraits in Sacramento? You can start by celebrating with us as we showcase Bella’s senior session. Getting your Senior Portraits done is a signature senior experience that every teen deserves. My goal always is to provide each graduating senior and their family with a custom, inclusive, and fun experience! From personal styling, customized locations, and my helpful tips for editorial posing, your photoshoot with Lacey M. Carroll Photography elevates your every day to an unforgettable experience you’ll want to share with family and friends.

So here we go, let me tell you about this Sacramento Area Senior who has been a part of my LMCP Team and now Senior Squad since her sophomore year of high school! Take a look at when she got the cover of Dolce Magazine two years ago! Bella and her mom, Allison have been two of the most helpful, kind, and supportive folks we have had the pleasure of working with. They are both ready to help and ready to cheer on the other LMCP Senior Squad members during photoshoots. This session though, was all about Bella!

Meet Bella:  Bella is a grounded and kind high school senior with big goals and the drive to achieve them. Her love for animals and travel have inspired her to apply to Hawaii Pacific University on Honolulu, Hawaii. We had to get some college tee grad pics in as a way to manifest an early acceptance to her dream college experience! Bella has a quiet confidence and ease about her that brings calmness and professionalism to a photoshoot set. We love her laid back style and love for blazing through a Netflix series at home.

The wardrobe story of Bella’s looks for her Senior Couture Session reflect Bella so well and how we went about curating her looks from the LMC style closet. Each Senior Session includes a Fashion Consult at my photo studio where we curate and style the looks included in your package! You can see the evolution of one of Bella’s first looks on the shoot below! We wanted to keep things comfortable and cute. We love to keep it cute! Bella envisioned her session being outdoors with golden hues and vibes. I knew I wanted to take her to the American River Parkway because her looks were giving Coastal Cowgirl and American Sweetheart vibes. Along the way to the river, along Folsom Blvd, we stopped for a party in Bella’s prom inspired party dress! There were blooming bushes of yellow flowers that were the perfect pairing to Bella’s royal blue gown. I loved the juxtaposition of Bella’s classic formal look along the sidewalk and cinderblocks. Did you know that Folsom Blvd is part of the Pony Express?! We live in a historic city!

I couldn’t think of a better photoshoot to close out Bella’s Senior Year with me. I know there will be future photoshoots we do, including our BFF mini-sessions and our cap & gown grad photos in the spring of 2026 but this day was special because it was just Bella’s. I do not take lightly how important senior portraits are to not only the parents and families of these incredible teens, but also for the teens themselves. They’re on the precipice of their new lives and we can be there to help welcome them into a new chapter with confidence, clarity, and a collection of snapshots of this special time.

I encourage future seniors to plan early for next year, don’t wait until you feel ready to book your Senior Portraits, do it before your school year is over.
