Madi’s Sacramento Cap & Gown Session

Some clients become part of your business. And some like Madi and her mom Kelly, become part of your heart!

Madi was on Team LMCP from her sophomore year all the way through senior year, and watching her grow has been one of the biggest joys of my career. She's always brought grace, style, and so much light to every shoot. Whether she was striking a pose (and yes she even coined a pose/move I call “The Madi”) or she is mid-dance or laughing through behind-the-scenes moments, she is effortlessly magnetic and the kind of person who makes everyone around her feel comfortable and supported.

And now, two years after graduation, she came back for an extra special photoshoot! She’s headed off to Sonoma State to pursue her dream of becoming a teacher. Watching her step into this next chapter is so joyous! I have no doubt that she’ll bring the same passion and heart to the classroom that she brought to every shoot we’ve had together.

Madi has been working in a first grade classroom this year helping out the teacher, and her graduation stole has the hands of all of there students!!! Isn’t that the sweetest thing ever!

And I have to take a moment to shout out her amazing mom, Kelly… a true gem. From the very beginning, Kelly has been supportive, kind, and such a wonderful presence. Getting to know this family has been an unexpected gift that came with photographing Madi.

Madi, you are going to change lives. I’ve seen your strength, your creativity, and your huge heart up close and now the world gets to see it, too. Sonoma is lucky to have you. And so were we!
